Outwall is a barricade game with one rule you feel immediately: get your pawn to the far side before your rival gets to theirs. On your turn you either take a step — or drop a wall in their way.

Each turn you do one of two things: step one square, or place a wall between two squares.
A wall can never seal someone in — there is always a way through. It just gets longer.
Reach the opposite side before your rival reaches theirs.
It only stretches the route. So every wall is a trade: you spend a turn to cost your rival two. That single constraint is what turns a simple race into a game about tempo — when to build, when to run.
Turn them on or off before the match. Both players always get the same board.
